White Oak Middle School will host our District UIL Academic competition on December 8 and 9.   Last year we had a great turn out and expect more students to be involved this year.    This will be our first year to host this event.   The middle school will dismiss at noon on December 9.    Students participating in this contest will remain at school however you may pick up your child when their contest is finished.        Mr. Scott is our UIL Coordinator and may ask for student and parental assistance throughout the afternoon on one or both days.   We may need help with monitoring students, grading tests, providing for a hospitality room for the judges and coaches of the events, assisting in the concession stand for the students, and many other areas.    If you are available and would be interested in helping, please contact him.
